OT-When you don't ask God for much...

...maybe the things you do ask for aren't ignored... I'm not a devout Catholic...I don't even know if i remember all my prayers...but the one I said this evening was for justice to be served... *I hope the DA cares enough about a stranger to put a violent, dangerous man in prison where he belongs... *I prayed, for the first time, for this stranger who was almost killed...deliberately...his bones crushed and left for dead...I pray he is vindicated *I prayed that the family who raises a criminal, pays for this criminal to continue to walk the streets and lies for this violent criminal never get the chance to raise someone else's child this way... *I pray that the most beautiful child I've ever had the privilege to hold will never have to be exposed to the lies and chaos that she never asked for... *I pray that she can grow up knowing that the first man in her life may be a violent liar, but that there are other stronger, more honorable men who love her beyond words... *I prayed that a judge can see through the bull**** and know the life that little girl deserves, and may he see who has and will continue to give that to her... I don't know if God hears my prayers...but as my friends, I beg for yours to make mine stronger and louder and WORTH hearing...tomorrow many lives may be changed dramatically...please pray that a judge will see the truth and make the best life and the best future for a beautiful baby girl...please... xxx Becca

Thank you so much... My niece's biological father is on trial for three counts of attempted murder... He threatened to have my sister killed if she testifies about the details of that night... His family just posted $1mil. bail and he is now on the streets until his trial... He has an incredible legal team that is working to keep him on the streets and his family is using 'grandparent visitation" as a means to put this little girl, whom he has never had anything to do with, into his hands... He told my sister that If he is sentenced to prison, he would take his daughter and disappear... His family has the financial means to make this happen...we are terrified and broken hearted... Tomorrow we put the matter into the hands of a stranger...one judge will be deciding this baby girl's future... all that is left now for us to do is pray....and so we are Thank you for your addition to our prayers...I appreciate it more than you could ever know... xxxbecca

i will deffintely pray for your family in this time of need, how are the paternal grandparents able to see the child, unless he has visitaion and gets the abby. california has no grandparent rights, as of what i was told by the judge in late 2007, so unless things change i might be sceptiable ablut that. your sister just needs to make sure she tells the judge her reasoing behind everything, such as his threats, his familys willingness to take things into their own hands, as long as one of the legal parents are not harzardoz (such as your sis) then grandparents cannot gain custody without showing an order to show cause of why your sister finanicaly, physicaly or mentaly take care of the baby. the grandparents however if are involved with the babies upkeeping thus far they can be included in the case, does your sis have a good lawyer? anyways best wishes and your on my prayer chain tonight.

I hope her lawyer is good enough to deal with these horrible people... from what I understand, the grandparents are trying to just get visitation...I don't know how this is interpreted by the law...My sister is a wonderful mother...although without an education, she makes little money and lives with my parents....but there is no lack of love and this child has a wonderful home...I hope it stays that way...it would only take one visit for this man to leave with this little girl...he has nothing to lose.... it makes me sick to even think of it... This really hurts my heart, to hear something like this.  I was reading through Psalms and I found these verses

Psalm 64:5-7 

 

 5 They encourage each other in evil plans,        they talk about hiding their snares;        they say, "Who will see them ?"

 6 They plot injustice and say,        "We have devised a perfect plan!"        Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning.

 7 But God will shoot them with arrows;        suddenly they will be struck down. I believe God hears your prayers.  I will definatly pray for your family.  Keep the faith!
